The Treasure Island plan for a modern island village has been juiced a bit, from an initial 6,000 housing units to 8,000, based on some number crunching that would make the project more 1) financially viable, and 2) attractive to stores and other services. A project manager at developer WIlson Meany Sullivan hints that the boost would result in a “more robust” community. [SF Business Times]
